Small residential remodeling firm based in Manhattan, looking for a professional, personable and detail adept Designer/Salesperson and or Project Manager. Ideally, one person who can design/sell and manage but not necessarily. Prefer NYC resident.
We design, sell the products and install new kitchens, baths and complete home interiors for indivdual owners of coops, condo apartments and some private homes.
We serve the mid to high end market. The indivdual must have a minimum of 5 years or residential remodeling experience in NYC high rise apartments. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and any good design software.
Hours for designer/salesperson are flexible depending on number of appointments sought. Design sales work will include meeting clients at their home/apt and subsequently, designing(either computer or hand), writing work scopes and selling renovations along with materials selections, follow up calls and ocassional site visits. Hours include some evening and weekend appointments. Own transportation required. Phone allowance provided.
For the PM side, the majority of hours will be weekdays but will often require evening and occassionally weekend appointments-especially email and phones (constant client interaction/updates). Responsibilities for project management include on site managing, scheduling and coordinating trades and materials deliveries, quality control and timely completions.
Please reply only if you have a minimum of 5 years experience as either a PM or kitchen designer/salesperson in NYC high rises. Will need prior contractor and or customer references. Must be strong in english, verbal and written.
Location: Manhattan
Compensation: Commission based-5% of contract for design/sales and 3% for project management.
